300ex front end on 250ex

I know a bunch of guys said the front shocks will bolt right up you just need to use some washers as spacers on the bottom. What about the a-arms and tie rods/ tie rod ends. Will these bolt up? One of the guys said the a-arms will but not sure if the tie rods from a 300ex will mount up to the tie rod ends of a 250ex. Any one know? How much wider will it make it if it does work?

The a-arms wouldn't fit either. The top ones are too wide. I wanted to do the same thing.:(
