Shipping a large item via fed ex

I'm shipping out the motor on my brute force 750, it weighs about 150 lbs and is on a small pallet. Can I drop it off at a fed ex location. There is a fedex warehouse a few blocks from me, but will they be able to unload it with a forklift or something?

Id call before you go if it were me. Last time I shipped something heavy I called both UPS and Fed-Ex and UPS was cheaper. I crated up the engine using some plywood and drove it down to the central hub where they unloaded it for me and assured me it would be on its way.

If it's 150lbs. or less take it to UPS. (no fork trucks though) If it's over 150lbs check out UPS freight instead (they will have fork trucks) Make sure you drain all fluids from it and insure it too!:)
