I lost my key.i have no clue how.and i have no extras.I have searched and searched and can not find it.Can my local key maker make a key if i take my ignition into him? and would it be cheaper than buying a new ignition if he can?

Yep, they can cut a new key. Any locksmith can, friend of mine has had it done a few times.

Last time my buddy had them cut one at a dealer think it was like 15 bucks-but they just copied his key.

take the ignition out and there should be some # and letters about 5 in all. the last three are what ur going to need should be like b33, or something like that. take it to the dealer and they can cut a key for you about 10 bucks.hope this helps

The easiest way to go out and ride is to hot wire it... The two wires that connect to the switch just have to be inserted into each other. Pretty easy.
