how do the CF1 Rims hold up in xc racing compared to the tech 3 thanks do they have a tendency to break out the centers since they arent aluminum rings like the tech 3s just aluminum holes? thanks like anyones input who runs the CF1 in the woods like to run em since there 100bucks cheaper a rim.

wonder if a person could insert a metal piece matching the holes between the rim and the hub to give it more strength to save couple bucks?

ive ran a few seasons with CF1's in GNCC and they have held up great.

i just wondered cause i know it has to put a heck of a strain on those rims leaning in directions on sharp turns or rubing against deep ruts, rocks, and trees. alot of pressure against them could it maybe cause them to crack or bust in the center?

i haven't had any problems like that... their pretty tougyh. the only problems i ever hear are from big impacts. Like you would get racing motocross

i know some xc races have jumps on creeks or in open sections but i dont think they would be as large as mx jumps..dunno if they would hurt them?

They haven't bothered mine.. I think their a good choice considering the price difference

yeah i no anything performance wise is perty pricey but $1,000 dollars for 4 single bead lock rims is a little much to me...wonder if they even have a warrenty?

check ebay. the people selling hipers on there tell you to call or email them for discounts because they cant advertise cheaper prices. i got my single beadlock front and dual rear tech3's way cheaper then that.

o idk ive looked but havent settled do you think tech 3 single beadlocks in the rear and cf1 single locks in the front would be a good xc setup? i also looked into the aluminum style single bead lock rims dwt? roughly same price,

I have both the CF1'S and the Tech 3'S. I run XC and I honestly prefer the CF1'S. Thats just me thou. There is guy on Ebay like mentioned that sells them dirt cheap. Highland tire is the place, but I can't remember his screen name.
