Hello,

This might be a stupid question, but it is something I've been having doupts about for a while...

The air screw should be +/- 1.5 turns out, but 1 turn is that 360° ?
I've always thought it was 360° for 1 turn, but a friend of mine told 1 turn is 180° :s

Reason I ask now is, I got my 2nd 250r running, it idles find and on higher rpm it runs strong, doesn't hold in or boggs. But the moment I let off the throttle the engine feels like it swallows itself and dies. Plug is really black, so I think it is running way to rich and need to turn out the airscrew a little bit more.
It is now opend 180°.

One complete turn is 360, usually about 2.25 turns is a ballpark. Checkout DR's website, there is a great tech sheet on carb tuning.
