I have a 07 400ex with 426kit and hot 2 cam. I recently started racing harescrambles. My OEM clutch is wornout and it needs to be replaced. I am considing a semi-auto clutch. I am Just wondering if anyone else has used a Revloc or Recluze clutch?

I installed a rekluse in my wifes moto . When you hammer it it grabs and goes no slipping. Just like as if you were doing it yourself . Once you get the engagement speed dialed in which may take a few spring and shim changes they work great.

I dont think rekluse makes one for the 400 but i could be wrong, i have never found one though.

revloc is quite expensive but looks like a nice kit for the 400. :D

I contacted the dude at Revloc and i have to mail him out my wornout clutch. He estimated that it will take about two weeks before i will received the new semi-auto clutch in the mail. I hope it will comes with good install directions.

I always hated the Semi-Auto clutch's on sport quads... I rode a 450r that had a setup like this and it was always jerking me around on take off.

I put a Revloc in my 400ex, I love it. I had a few issues at first but got those worked out. I ran 3rd of 6 in my class at the last XC race, my finish ever.

I ran a rekluse in my 450 and absolutely hated it. I could never get over the fact that there was no engine braking at all.

Also, the clutch lever would be limp until the rpms were up a bit.

Tried one on my friends Honda 450R and he hated it as well. Both of us have since gotten rid of the "auto clutches" and went back the the manual clutch.

I could only see any possible gains in extremely tight woods. Other than that, waste of money.

I recommend a Hinson or Wiseco billet clutch over an auto clutch any day.
