08 Outlaw 525 IRS - Where does this cable go?

I loaned by quad to a friend and it came back with one of the ground cables detached and i dont know where it goes. :mad: There is a ground cable going from the battery to the frame and then the cable in question from the frame to? I've looked in the service manual and dont see where it should go.

Is it in the front under the headlight hood? Does the 08 have the wire that hangs down for quick connect for jumping off? Can you post a pic?

That is supposed to hang down. It gives you easy access to jumping it off or charging the battery. Mine does the same thing and i keep it hanging out so i can get to it easier. You could always remove it but you will have to take the front off if you ever need to charge or jump it off

My 08 also has the same cable. Its there to easly connect jumper cables or battery charger. Don't be blaming your friend.... Is suppose to be there!! Lmao. ;)
