Gave the girlfriends 400 a little 450r love

Since the day she bought her 07 ive hated the front end of her 400. its always reminded me a little of marvin the martian. so i got the maier scooped hood and a 450r headlight and made them fit together. it was really easy, and from what i could tell i dont think very many, if anyone else has done this yet. either way she and i both love it. im still waiting to get better pics of it but for now heres some crappy phone pics! let me know what you think.

thanks guys, its all OEM quality so thats what makes me the happiest. and i used 3/16 rod for my brackets on the side of the light to mount to an upper body mounting point. ill just say that it is VERY sturdy. lol

i have 120 total into this with 70 for the hood and 50 for the light. not too bad for the change it made in my opinion.

and as far as still looking like marvin the martian, ha ha, it doesnt at all. the piks i have are at kind of goofy angles to it makes the headlight stand out more. when your just looking at it like normal it looks badass!

i did that last yr with a 450r hood scoop, unfortunately my girl crashed it into a ditch and wrecked the front bumper, hood, light, and right side arms and shock and stem..thankfully it i had most of the parts to replace everything, but the light and hood had to go back to stock for now... also here is a thread that it was done before..where i copied mine from..lol

haha ya i actually saw piks of that after i got done with mine... i looked through all 122 pages of members rides the other night... honestly though i dont like that hood as much as the regular maier one.
