400ex shocks on a 300ex

Does any body out there know if 400ex shocks will fit on a 300ex?

.....yes they will fit, BUT you must make or buy a top shock mount becouse the 400's shocks are about 2"s longer than the 300's.
.....also, if you do this mod, you'll need to use the 400ex's a-arms,
becouse they are about 1-1/4" to 2"s wider.
the leverage on the shock will be differant, making it a stiff ride.

TOBY300EX (i think) makes an upper mount for this convertion.
