Who has the best deal on HARD FACE ROCKERS?

Who has the best deal on hard faced rockers for a 400ex? I took mine apart today for the 440 install to find out that my cam and rockers had deep grooves in them. THIS SUCKS!! Now I need a new cam and HARD *** rockers.

Your gonna need to do a little calling around to get the best price. I for one am not excited about paying $200.00 plus for a set of slightly modified stk rockers but refuse to take a chance on a cam more aggressive than the hotcraps with the stock facings.

I have noticed that the prices (discount not std advertised) do move around a little in the off season and when things get slow etc. but I still have not seen anyone offer them much below the $200.00 mark.

I had seen a thread in the past about a cryo treatment (controlled heating and cooling of the metal to harden it by realigning the molecule set up) which is some pretty interesting stuff but never heard about it again or if it held up.

cURTIS sPARKS IS THE CHEAPEST, i've looked around and can't find them cheaper anywhere. They cost $50 each x 4 = $200 plus core exchange. Most place are like $250 plus exchange.

If sparks is really 200.00 (still too much :grr ) then C&D can get those and most likely discount it, but I dont know for sure that price is correct.

C&D quoted me $275 for them. I ordered valve springs from them, but cancelled my order after waiting six weeks for them. They were very nice and helpful on the phone, and went out of their way to help me. I did order some other things from them, but couldn't wait any longer for the springs.

Ya quadfather sorry about the wait on the spring they are in stock now go figure :rolleyes: I just talked to Sparks Racing on the hardened rockers and the Price is $225 with $110 core which will be returned when they get your good rockers. We will sell the rockers for $215 to help you guys out a bit..
