Hey guys I've always ran 8" tamers or razr's on the back of my 450..now i need a set of tires and see all these companies making new tires. I think i want to try something new (goldspeed, hoosier etc.). Let me know what you guys think is the best rear MX tire. Thanks!

My favorites for the rears are either the rzr mx, rzrcross, or the itp quadcrosses.

i'm thinking just some razr mx's..the quadcross's are too expensive and i have razr mx's in the front.

I love the razr mx's good hookup and they last longer than holeshots

I ran razr MX's they dont hook p that well... so I switched to quadcross MX pro's and they wear out in about 6 motos....
so I switched to hoosier mx200 compound and they hook up amazing and last...

Most all tire companies try to copy other companies treads so goldspeed Hoosier etc, are basically variations of the razrcross, razrmx, holeshot whatever I like the new razr tires that just cameout this year they look like turf tamer style treading you should look into those maybe

I highly suggest the goldspeed mxr2's. Std razrs are hard and dont hook up good. Holeshots hook up good but the side bite isnt too good and they wear fast. The hoosier 200 cmpnd are a very solid tire. I ran them for a couple motos then cut one down and never bought a new one. I really liked them but they are pricey. As far as fronts, id suggest the razr cross. Goldspeed and hoosier have that same tread pattern but are softer.

Artrax from motosport! 40 bucks a tire and they are amazing tires.

this question is kind of a what's the best car. All you can do is keep trying tires until you find what you like. I personally prefer the itp holeshot mx's on the back and kenda klaw mxf's up front. I have also had good like with razr mx's.

personally i dont like razr mx on the rear but the best tire set-up iv tried and still use is itp holeshot mxr6 (or is it mxr4) rears and razrcross front
