Spring removal

I have a set of works TRS with Res, do i need a special tool to remove the springs from the shock. Thanks

No you shouldn't. Compress the spring with your hands.(They make a tool for this but you don't need it) Then at the bottom of the shock twist the retainer were it lines up and you can pull it off. Then the spring will come right off.

I see how it comes off, the springs wont compress at all so im trying to find a compressor
