ford guys... trans question

any one know if they ever put a ZF5 behind a 300 I6? i know they used them from 87?-97 IIRCC.... but i think they start them with the 302's
looked on the web a little bit but cant find it.

Yes, was possible to have a ZF w/300, was found in F250/350.

If your wanting a ZF for a diesel btw it wont work b/c the bellhousings totally different.

I need a sbf bell housing for the adapter plate I have on my Cummins kinda screwy but thats the way it is...

Than any ZF will fit except the one off the diesel.
