Gotta love birthdays! Heres a couple things I had to show off. :D

The gun is a Springfield 1911 mil spec A1. The knife is a spyderco para-military 2. I plan on doing a few things to the gun, but its a sweet shooter!

both nice units there. I was extremely impressed with the spyderco i have used, it was a great knife for sure. held an edge extremely well too.

the gun looks nice, never shot one though so thats all i have there.

i don't mean to talk bad about your knife but i can't see paying that for a made in china knife.

Any spyderco i have owned was worth every cent in my book. I own some pretty nice knives but this brand is at the top of my list. I could care less if it was assembled, made or whatever in any country as long as its a well made product.

The gun was around 600, a little over priced. Ive got around 150 rounds through it already with no problems what so ever.

Has anyone bought that knife that Gerber made with Bear Grylls . Just wondering if it was any good? I saw it was made in Cheena also, still looks like a nice knife.

My birthday was this week so I bought myself a Taurus pt140 and got my frame and arms all PCed up. I've only put 1 mag through it so far. I bought some typical Target ammo, some crappy stuff and some personal protection rounds to see of its picky or not. So far I love the gun. A lot of nice features and fits my small hands good

if thats $600 for that gun brand new never fired, thats a hell of a deal!

as for knives, i would love to have a benchmade or a spyderco, but i tend to loose knives from time to time and i would hate to loose one of those. so i normally stick with gerber, because my dad gets them at cost through his firearms dealership... i have a couple gerber Ez outs and a geber gator....but my daily knife i carry all the time is a Dozier Design K-bar that i got through him 4 years ago for $5.00 at cost...it has a 430 stainless blade, and has held up fantastic..

I have the millennium pro and I do not like it very much at all. The grip is too small and the trigger pull sucks.
It has operated flawlessly though.

See I enjoy the trigger pull. I was looking at a couple other pistols and the trigger pull seemed like forever and you didnt know when it was going to click. the millennium has easy trigger pull and tightens up at the last second.

I like a trigger that has no play in it and snaps like glass when it pops.

This is the first one ive owned. I can see why people like them so much. They have a nice feel to em. Ive put about 50 rounds of HP's through it since i started this thread. Still no malfunctions.
