I have a friend that wants to put 300ex fronts on his 250ex anybody have any laying around that are in good shape? If so what do you want for them? I've heard of them going for $50 - $75 dollars on here. Let me know, Diggler:chinese:

all right I'll see if he's interested. I'm pretty sure he just wants to bolt them up and ride but if it's the only option he might be up for it.
Thanx, Diggler

everything, except the tie-rod ends.
300ex
---shocks no-majore air. plenty of life left
-----a-arms, all 4
-------tie-rods (no-ends)

$100.00..to your door.

bolt on and ride...shouldn't cost much for the tie-rod ends, maybe his 250's will match.....

reply here on in my e-mail.

I have 300ex shocks. They are in excellent condition. I only used them for a year. 75 bucks and they are yours. Sorry, no picture.

Thanx guys,
I talked to Steve a little while ago and he's going to try and work something out to get this done. We are trying to find out if all the 300ex parts will bolt right up especially the 300ex to 250ex tie rods/ tie rod ends. If anyone else finds this out please inform me.

the shocks will fit on the 250ex a-arms but you'll have to jam them on there and the ride will suck unless all your doin is jumpin

Muff,
will the ride suck? If I look at them side by side at the dealership they look identical or very close to identical in length so I wouldn't think they would jack up the front end at all. Have you tried it or do you know someone who has? I want to talk him out of it if it's going to suck. We heard some other guys were doing it and we figured if they are the same length the should work plus they have a little more travel and a softer ride. Let me know what you know.

thanx, Diggler

I had put 300ex shocks on my recon, and the recon and 250ex are pretty much the same atleast what i know of anyways.... the shocks will fit but like i said the 300s are longer and you'll need to compress them a little bit to get them on, this makes the shock harder and it wont soak up as much as the stock 250s did, the ride will be rougher but jumping will be much nicer once you start gettin the suspension going throughout the range, it will be hard to bottom them out

any more ?s just ask, i ahve a set of 300ex shocks just sittin here on my desk, i'll measure them after i go eat dinner
