check this quad out. 290 pounds :eek2: thats only around 50 pounds more than a dirtbike. this thing must hual. Im not a big hybrid guy personally but this is like a dream quad. its so light so the power to weight ratio must be insane for a quad.

"Titanium nuts and bolts on 90% of the ATV (cost of $5,000 just in bolts)"
those are some expensive bolts!!!:eek2:
It might be a different one, but a long time ago on another quad site there was a guy that posted his boss's completely titanium 250r. Sick for sure!

Yeah, but they don't go very fast without an engine...

They might be fudging that number a little, just a little.......
I built one of my walsh quads using all titanium hardware(everything but the swingarm bolt pretty much) for a extremely low fraction of that number.
its def a cool piece ride it once and after that i rather have a chromoly walsh one lol...everything breaks and thats basically all one off correct?

in a mx mag they said titanium is half the weight of steel, and aluminum is half the weight of titanium.
and i beleive the price for the bolts. in that same article they said you can buy a titanium axles for bikes that will cut around 3-4lbs and the kit is $1200...
