What's the latest word on Canondale?

I heard they're all done, quads, dirtbikes, and bicycles. I hope this info is false. I think the quads are wicked. It would be a shame for them to go down the drain like this.

I have heard that the motorsports division is going to be up for auction shortly by the banckrupcy courts. I have also heard that there is a company here in San Diego that is serious about buying it. If they do get it there intention is to drop the two-wheelers (at least temporarily), and focus on the ATV's.

I tried to find out who the company was, but had no luck.

i've been keeping a close eye on cannondaleriders.com. I had a link to a dealer where they were selling a cannondale speed for 5400. I think they deleted it tho. Anyone know of any other cheap dealers? My dad wants a quad.

Supposedly they even own their own over seas manufacturing plant that can help to dramaticaly cut costs and maintain quality.

There is also supposed to be one or two other bidders trying to buy the motorsports division.

Rad2go had two cannondales and some cannondale chairs and other cannondale stuff in their booth in Indy but I didn't thiunk to ask why.
