So since I'm too cheap to buy the fancy footpegs, I took a spare set I had leftover, cut the mounts off, and welded them up to the set for my red 'R.

I'm going to try to put 'em in my mill and sharpen up the grip surface, then sandblast & paint 'em.

Not perfect, but hard to beat for the price!

Ha thanks! I got the idea from a picture I saw online, and whattya know, I had an extra set of pegs laying around. They're not that fancy; the grip surface is worn down like mad, but I'm going to mount them in my mill and use a 45deg end mill to try and freshen them up a bit. I just cut one of the mounting tabs off with an abrasive saw, sanded the paint off the weld areas, fired up the stick welder, and went to town.

If you've got 2 sets of footpegs laying around and dont' have the means, send 'em to me- it's a pretty easy fix.
