ball joint

While I was riding today the bottom ball joint snapped and made my quad stop instantly since the lower a-arm just dug into the ground as I kept going, glad I was only in second gear. But anyways, I have +2 a-arms, not sure whast brand, as they are off ebay, but what I was wondering is if heim-joints are a good way to go? I will be doing alot of mx track riding/racing this year so i would like it to be strong.

I like ball joints a lot better because they're sealed, heims always seemed to have play and squeak quickly after I put them on.

It also sounds like you might wanna take a closer look at your quad from time to time!!!! haha That couldve been ugly man...

thats what I was thinking too, I like everything to be sealed good, could be because I live on a farm. I just put the a-arms on, guess I didnt look at the balljoints good enough.
I looked back on it when I got up from the ground and thought the same thing! haha
