does having high blood pressure cause worse arm pump? I've never really checked my blood pressure untill this week when my girl friend started checking her's. All week i've been in the high 140's. And then i just checked it and it was 196. I'm not worried about dieing or anything. But i am worried about this effecting my arm pump that I am trying to get rid of

Arm pump is mostly caused by gripping the bars too tight, try to relax your grip a bit and the arm pump will go away. Once arm pump kicks in then it’s too late, you must try to relax from the start.

cut down on salts and drink plenty of water and if its still above normal then get checked!!
if you have a heart attack or stroke you can forget about throwing your quad around ever again

sounds like you need to get rid of some stress with all that muscle tension and high blood pressure. RELAX.

i was diagnosed with hypertension at 16 years old. after undergoing many tests and seeing a few specialists, they couldn't figure out what was causing it. now they tell me its just in my genes. keep checking it and if it doesn't go down to about 120/60ish, see a doctor. it is called "the silent killer" for a reason.

My bp is around 180/90s. Lately its been getting lower because I'm in the relax, "retired" state. Cut the salts and **** food and calm yourself down with the stress. I use to be able to feel my blood going through my veins and you could see me "twitch" from it. :chinese:
