I just got my e-series and I have a k&n with a outerwear. Im not running a lid on the box. Some say to go with a 165 main and others say 155. I live in california and ride pismo, glamis, gorman. So if you can help out that would be great. thanks in advance.

I have the same set up as you & run a 165 main, runs great plug looks great,i could prob go down to a 160 but i would rather be safe than sorry!!

my buddy keeps telling me to go with a 155 mj. Do you think that would be ok?

Try the 155 but look at your plug for the final answer. Also i think you will prolly need to go bigger than a 155 but only the plug can tell for sure.

I'm running a 160 with a e-series and my plug looks great. I ride at sea level too.
