I'm trying to finish up my 440ex build but I need the sleave installed and finish bored and honed, I also need new valve guides and seals installed in the head. I had something set up when I began the project last summer but the plans fell through. so dose anyone know a reputable engine builder in michigan who has the tools to help me finish my 400ex?

Where exactly are you? I know a couple good shops in the Kalamazoo area that could fix you up.

If you are near the Marshall area, I would recommend M3 Motorsports. I just had my 400 rebuilt and he did a very nice job, and as a bonus, goes through the whole bike and makes sure everything is good to go. Their number is 269-781-0000 if interested

I,m in the detroit metro area. I allready have the top end off though so I could ship the clynder and head. id prefer to have one shop do it all. I would have pulled the whole motor but my swing arm bolt is siezed. so the motor is still in the frame. Im getting ready to install my +2 a arms as soon as this semester ends with work and school I have literaly no free time.

Moto-Xperts.com Will do it all. They are a site sponsors. They did the head on my last motor.
