High comp piston, cam

I have a 2001 400ex with a WB slip on and K&N filter and i wanted to know if i could just put a stage 1 hot cam in it and get more performance or also put a high compression piston in it and which would you perfer. If i were to do that id also have to rejet it and what jets would u perfer????

Im going to put all mine back togeather right now.Listed below.Piston and cam + valve work.No springs just seated and valve seals.From what i hear this will make me or you very happy.I sure hope so.I'll let ya know how it goes.

I have ROSS 10.5-1 piston and I just put a stage II cam and cdi box in Thursday. We took it to the dunes Thursday nite and just got back Sunday. I love the the added power! It pulls real hard through the dunes and it didn't do to bad up comp hill. I was clocked at 43 mph up the hill. I rode a 400ex that just had a slip on and a k&n and there was a HUGE difference.:D
