What is the pupose for the baffles at the end of the e-series exhaust? I have heard that they give the fourwheeler more power but I don't know. Would it be okay to leave them off?

That is a spark arrestor, it will be louder if you take it out but i doubt you notice any change in power either way.

The purpose of the baffles is to produce back pressure in the exhaust. It is also allows you to modify the bike response for low end or top end. And sound. If you remove them you have to re-jet the carb.
