I'm not sure how soon you need them but every once in a while Maier has blems on ebay. I got a set of front race cuts for 50 bucks because they had a very small scratch.

Maier just put a set of black ones on ebay that are blems.... Wish they were Lakers!!!!! Damnit. I dont want stock plastics.

Also keep in mind dude if you dont want to pay much you're gonna have one HELL of a time finding plastics that still look descent. These blems on ebay are few and far between and usually get bid up pretty high anyway because its usually only a small defect. If you want nice plastics, I'd just ride it and start saving....

Well, the fronts aren't that bad, but I do not like how the rear plastic is. The little supports rattle (even with the supports they flop like crazy) and the pointed part that meets the front plastic sticks out and gets caught on my boots on both sides.

Also the tank area on the front plastic sticks out further than it should and my boots get caught on that.

Both UPS and FedEx tried charging me over 100 bucks to ship my stock set out, ended up being cheaper for the guy to just drive here!

Go down to your dealer and pay the price man, or find someone nearby selling them.

They are very hard to ship and costly when you ship them.

New plastics from the dealer are like 300 bucks total..

ya the dealer said about 400 bucks the dumb thing is you find some on ebay but its higher to ship them than the plastics worth lol

I did that to mine, it worked ok but a pressure washer will scratch them up then-really mines like 1200psi electric I use on the quads and it scratches the paint since the paint itself only bonds so so. Also gas eats the paint.

Id leave them yellow.

huuuhh also i was thinking the underside would chip fast i may leave them yellow or use rubberized coating underneath

The funny thing is, using it on non painted plastics is fine of course. The fusion looked good for maybe 6 months of riding, after that it began to break down and will scratch from anything and everything.

Funny enough since mine is black/red, the side panels I painted black are fine-just the red didnt seem to bond well. Not sure why really.
