Chain Help!!!

i have a stock O-ring chain on my 300ex and i need to remove it..i was looking and i cannot find a master link or anything. how do i get it off???

cutting torch, grinder, cut off wheel, chain breaker, bolt cutters, hacksaw there is no master link on a stock chain

No master link on it. Saz-all or air grinder will take it off in a jiff.

Can I make My Honda 250EX a Clutch??? Wouldnt it be alot faster if it was clutch???

:rolleyes: no there are no kits available to make the 250ex a clutch maybe somtime in the future but right now no and seriously a clutch would make it no faster than it is now

Are u sure? In the members rides pics, thier is a 250ex that says it has a clutch kit. What should I bored my 250ex to, and what would it take to do it?:huh

no you dont have to buy a new chain. if you dont just go blow it apart you can get just one master link and that should do it.

positive if it read clutch kit that could mean he's got some different plates in it some stiffer springs different basket that sort of thing not necessarily a manual clutch kit which i'm pretty positive they don't have as for boring i have no clue about a 250:confused:

you can unbolt your swingarm and the chain would be able to come off without any cutting or whatever, then just slip if off the rear sproket and over the left rear tire and your chains off

why do you need to take it off? why not just buy a new chain, especially if your 300ex is a 99 it might be a good idea to replace it even if its still workin, you dont want to crack a case...trust me it sucks
