Sad Day, Seen that joel hetrick is seeling the kawis and building different bikes, its to bad considering he was the only kawi in the pro class.. I guess its understandable though, saw him at ballance last weekend, kawi went up in white smoke

Well he won the one pro am class last year on the kfx and some of had some of the fastest lap times of anyone there even over the pros, and had the fastest lap of anyone at one of the nationals, on the kfx, and just a few weeks ago had the third fastest qualifying time at ballance in the pro class. Those are the facts.

Hey guys I do thank you for payin attention to Joel, and I agree with everyone here.
Really,it was a tough decision to switch he rides the Kawie very well.
If you ask him he will tell ya he loves that quad.

The problem is this in the pro class you have to rebuild the quad after each race, last year with a bunch of help from Kawasaki we were able to put all new parts in just like a regular pro/pro-am team.
This year we did not get as much help, budget cuts and so on so I was footin the bill.
Well small town Pa.is getting beat up by the economy to.

Bottom line Honda is the small block Chevy of the atv world!
parts are about half price not that they are better or worse just cheaper to race as a privateer in the pro class.

We love the green dont think any other thing about that,,, as with any other type of business its all about the bottom line at the end of the day.

Sunday May 1st at 3:00pm est Verses TV watch the Kawie pull a third to the turn

Uh why don't you look back a little further at Wienen when he switched from Honda to factory Suzuki in the middle of the season. He started waxing everybody pretty quick. Same with the Kawasaki.

well obviously...just like im sure his dad spends countless hours/dollars making sure the honda is in tip top shape as well. every race quad needs constant money and attention.

ya i agree with you on most of it. the only reason i even replied was because the first thing you said was the kawi is a piece of crap...which it is not. ya maybe it is not as realiable as others when it is pushing close to 60hp or whatever. mine does not give me any issues with reliability.

Mine hasn't given me any trouble either. This 89trx250r guy sounds jealous of the kawi, just go buy one dude and you'll learn to shut your mouth and stop being ignorant. The Kawasaki is a good quad. Grow a pair and admit it :)

I do know what a protrax is. I'm a pretty good A rider might I add, I'm not a kid, I support myself, have a full time job, and go to school, I have followed racing since I was 13, so I know whats been happening.

Sure is really mature of you to call me a ****ing idiot, I bet im a hell of alot smarter than you. My screen name says alot hu? Like what? Please explain this to me so I don't have to keep thinking that you are the idiot. Screen name has been that way for a pretty long time.

Do you race at all? Probably not.

reading these post makes me laugh so much these post are nothing but pissing matches between honda n kawi which is better which one accelled joel to the top blah blah..he is where he is because of talent not what freaking bike he is riding im sure he would do good on about anything..hetrick said it all its cheaper for a privateer pro to financially keep up with the honda like a pro bike needs to be kept. So why argue with each other?

I agree all this forum is about is whiny little *****es saying there quad is better than everyone elses.

Joel is a very talented rider and i agree that he would probably excel on any quad.

Like Hetricks said, it's not about the bike itself. I see a lot of guys leaving Kawi for Honda because of factory support and savings. It's sad to see them go, but they gotta do what they gotta do. I prefer my Kawi over the Honda I had, but if I were to race competitively I couldn't afford to stay green! Kawi needs to get on the ball...

Honda has no factory support.

nor do they need too because the bike is the best, there still winning with no team. can am has spent tons of money the past 3 years and finally, hopefully will wrap up a championship this year
