Sneak peak pics of FW Carbon's new hood

I talked to Jay this morning, to see how he's coming on the new Nuca style hoods. So he sent me some sneak peak pics of them, getting close to being finished, not sure what all is left, they look pretty darn good to me...

Can't decide if I want to run this hood or the classic hood scooped hoods. I like this one better, but I've already ordered the other hood in light silver carbon.... Hmmm...

Its in the works, but not for while yet, from what I was told, unless he changed his mind...

yes they do, I had one but sold it. He's also got an OEM mounted scooped hood like QT...

The thing about the headlight hood, is the light sucks compared to today's standards. We need to design one that looks like the vintage but houses like a 4 or 6" l.e.d.

Curious to know if Jay can do a white CF hood, with the weave actually showing... Need to give him a shout.

I will say the hood posted on the original post looks pretty knarly. This Naca Duct hood is really growing on me. :D

It sounds like Jay is going to stop by my place in the next few weeks to talk about doing CF Walsh style shrouds and a hood like the one I pictured. I have a few extra 88-89 headlight hoods if he want to tackle it....

I gave the naca duct hood to Jay so he could make the mold hoping I could get it back but he said they usually don't look too good after the molding process so whatever he is given has to be sacrificed..

Dan - Notice the t-pin stem on this quad I think its what you wanted.

I know he's working on a silver CF color hood, for a couple of us... :D

I was hoping he'd do a completely new hood, that we haven't seen before. I really like his 300ex hood, has more style.

Nuca or the other hoods? Cause they already make OEM style mounted hoods:

1. Large hood scoop
2. OEM flat style hoods

both with OEM mounts.
