long story short i just bought a 2009 kfx 50 left over from depot honda in rye. they take good care of me but im a little concerned about this machine.

1.it has a tendency to stall alot after letting off the throttle.

2. if you pin it to the bar it bogs and wants to die.

are these typical issues and is there mods to fix the? wondering if the bog is a safty thing. but the stalling is not normal. cant be.

any thoughts or ideas. machine was in the show room and never had gas in it. i watched them prep it and get it going.

Get rid of that POS carb! Your problem is the auto-choke on it!

Run this carb, the only issue you will have is getting to the choke with the stock plastic. Works like a charm, just swap the jets out.

What carb had the link gone to? The link now goes to a page with multiple products, none of which are a carb. My son's kfx90 is hard to start and dies unless you constantly give it throttle. I think it's a problems with the anto choke. I need a replacement carb badly.

They used to have a direct link to that carb I was using, but since have removed it. It was a cheap carb that was a ACTUAL KEIHIN. The link posted above will work also, but its gonna cost 50 bucks compared to 35 bucks. lol

I have the same issue with the kfx 50, so I just need to put the factory jets in the after market carb, " main, pilot, and needle jets?"
