just thought id share this with you guys. i go to a technical highschool in south jersey called GCIT. im a junior there and im going for automotive tech. this year i decided to check out an organization called SkillsUSA. its a pretty cool thing to be a part of. its basically a big conference every year where all the members get together and compete for all kinds of things like automotive, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, culinary arts, cosmetology, etc. we went to somerset N.J. this past weekend to compete and i brought home gold for GCIT. this weekend was state competitions and i go to compete at a national level in kansas city on june 14th for the week. im pretty excited about going, ive heard from people that have gone that its pretty damn cool  suppose to be about 15,000 people there so it should be pretty neat.

Yep. It's a good time for sure. I was in SkillsUSA for Automotive Tech and Machine Tool. I believe it was formerly know as VICA.

i usually ride by myself honestly. im not into racing that much, ive hit the track here and there but not often. im more of a trails xc guy really. when i do ride with people its mainly just a few buddies from school. i ride under the powerlines across from winzingers alot with my buddy joe. and on the other side of those powerlines out on fries mill road with my buddy austin. i was riding at the pit behind target over in washington twp. until they closed it all up. not too many places left anymore. im tryin to get permission for that pit behind target but its not working out so well  my names chris btw

oh ok my names alex.. i know where your talking about. years back there was actually alot of pretty good small pits all around franklinville but u could only get to most of them by driving on the road and after a while the cops where all over them just waiting for people... they've closed down alot of good riding spots the past few years its pretty sad

yeah its a shame that its so hard to ride around here or i think more people would. cops caught me flyin down grant ave the one time tryin to get to the powerlines out on fries mill. i got a ton of trails going back there, i just have to pull out my driveway and shoot down the street about a quarter mile and im there. i just got a slap on the wrist thank god. i dont know what i would have done if the bike got impounded lol. where do you and your buddies ride?
