'05 national built 300ex
has just over one national season on it, finished top 5 overall at nats.
motor:
35mm sparks fcr
sparks high lift race cam
sparks +2+1 valves with hardface rockers ti retainers ect.
port job done on flow chart and shaved head
AMA legal 250x domed piston, made about 240psi on compression test
lightened flywheel (one thing that isnt done is knife edged crank)
HD chutch and springs
outside:
LT +2 swinger, new bearings, with works, remote rezzy, LSR axle, carrier with new bearings and will come with extra bearings as well.
+3+1 a-arms, new heim joints, with 450 shocks
frame was brand new and gussetted before being ridden any, was checked over and no cracks or anything.
the tires are razr mx, rears are 4 ply sidewalls and all tires have about 90% tread left.

250x domed piston????

what is the compression ratio? bore? and brand?

yes 250x piston, the wrist pin position gives it higher compression comparend to a 300ex piston. this one is, if i remember right, a 74.5 or 75mm, so theres a little room to go bigger. its a wiseco, forged.

i lied, i have a tester that goes to 200, and it went back around to the zero stop, lets just say quite a bit more than 200 haha

oh yes, 110 oct at the least, and preferably leaded, helps run cooler. ever since its been rebuilt its had sunoco 112 in it. i will sell you a 54 gal drum of it for $400, thats how much it is for me to order it myself.

are you sure its not a 76mm...this would put you at 297 cc's?
and your telling me your able to run a 250x piston on a 300ex crank and you still have enough clearence.....wow i wounder what the compression ratio is with this setup.
