please help...

i have a 92' 250x, and when i bought it, it only needed a carrier and ignition cover... i got them both only to find out it doesnt run. i took the the air filter off and sprayed carb clean in there and full throttle only runs for about 2-5 seconds. what could this be?

scratch that, it is running but no idol. When it runs, however, oil is pissing out of the top-right of the ignition cover
A gasket maybe?

take the carb off and clean the jets and passages of the carb with carb cleaner and compressed air. Check the jets and makes sure they are not varnished inside and nothing is plugging them. As far as the oil leaking problem, take the cover off adn check the gasket and see where the oil is coming from. Make sure there are no cracks or anything in the case. Hope this helps!
