Does houser make an EX swingarm??

Does houser make a swingrm for the EX. I have seen them but cant find it on there site is it just a modded 450r swingarm??

Just wondering cause i have houser arms and am working on a steering stem but i have an LSR swingarm.

Seems like the 450r one should fit since the stock 450r's swing arm fits 400ex...only thing is, whatever length you want, its gonna be an extra inch longer since the R's come with a swingarm stock that is 1 inch longer than the ex. So for example, if you ordered a +4 450r swingarm, its really like a +5. Get it?

Cant just swap it in tho if you buy a 450r swinger. you need the r brake setup, axle maybe (cant recall) and the r hub among other stuff.

Ok i knew about the r swingarm being longer but i forgot all about the 450r brake setup.
I think ill just run my lonestar and say heck with it then.

Nothing wrong with Lonestar....your 1.25 is a great addition over the stock swingarm.....Just ask Houser to send some swingarm decals, u have one of there swingarms an it needs new ones....then u can see who the experts are.....lol...."hey,...why is that Houser sticker doing on a Lonstar swingarm..?"

Sorry, but this is not entirely true. An 04-05 450R swingarm is identical dimensions to a 400ex swingarm, except the carrier is narrower on a 450 by 1/8". If a spacer is used on the sprocket side of the carrier, a 450R swingarm can be used in place of a 400ex. You don't need to swap brakes; I did this to my 400 before selling it. Therefore, I would assume an 04-05 450r Houser swingarm would work.

Yes houser makes a +1.25 arm. I still have it (for dune trips), but am running +6 drag arm now. They may have stopped producing them. give them a call. Got mine @ Magic Racing in Detroit
