i am running the stock lock nut and i have come into some problems with it staying tight. i used a breaker bar and a pipe with all my strength then wrap duct tape around it and it still comes loose. Can anyone help me out???
I've always used electrical tape, and never had one come loose.

use some red loc-tite and then electrical tape it, make sure you wrap it in the direction that tightens it.

Right. This or just get one of those one-piece nuts that have the pinch bolts. I got mine from C&D a couple years ago for about $50. I think RAD makes some. Worth the money, it worked perfectly.
