So, I found a copper head gasket for the 400ex. It was on ebay, just search it. Ebay links don't tend to work on here. I wonder whether that would really seal correctly. They claim it would never blow out?

Why? Never had an issue with OEM Honda gaskets or Cometic gaskets...

I just stumbled across it, i have no intentions of buying one. It is geared towards the big bore guys. Like someone running a 440 with a higher comp piston. It claims it never blows out.

Copper would create a better seal since copper is such a soft metal so I could see that working.
Why do you think theres copper crush gaskets for the exhaust.:ermm:
Reason we dont see it being widely used for headgaskets anymore is modern gaskets have come a LONG way. Every car, truck, bike and atv these days have an advanced manufactured gasket of some kind.
Plus copper is $$$
