How hard is it to remove after use? I need to use it to hold a temporary gasket in place to connect a silencer to the rest of the header pipe. But I don't want something on there that's not easy to remove when the actual gasket comes in next week.
What, the silicone type usually labeled RTV gasket maker?
Scrape it off with fingernails or a knife.

yeah the silicone type, its actually called gasket sealer...dont remember the brand. blue tube.
But yeah it looks like it would be pretty easy to take off. thanks!
Dont use the blue one unless its made for high heat. you need the copper type or if you cant find that the orange type-they are for high heat.

I use copper for my headers.
Nothing to removing it. I use a razor blade.
