View Full Version : any one play in bands?

I was in a few in high school mainly just played a few shows for the fair and that was it, nothing special, now i teamed up with my uncle and we're doing country western mostly, thats what he does anyways or has done, hopefully i can speed him up some and get some up beat stuff in there...

I play bass and just picked up a accoustic Hofner.

what you play and how often?

me and my friends try to do country but when its school time we dont get much time to play. im the lead singer

Used to play in a lot of hardcore bands. Did pretty well.

:) Got signed, toured a lot, got sick of it, quit.
now i just play occasionally and riding is my new passion.

i play just about everything though, bass and drums are my mains.

I’ve been playing guitar for 35 years, played in several bands, ran sound for many years, for just about every band that played in the bars and clubs in and around Houston. Met lots of players and performers, hung out with many of them and made lots of friends.
It was a lot of fun and a lot of work, I cant walk in a bar or club without being recognized by someone from back in the day.
I just play when the mood hits me now days.
I still have many friends that still play and tour.

I play in a hardcore band, i am the drummer. lol Not a huge fan of playing, but its fun.

Sweet go hardcore!

I drum in a band that sounds alot like TDWP or attack attack.

Got that whole techno breakdown thing going.

Ha ha not yet, we play a pretty melodic setup. We are all amatuers by far, and i never played hardcore up until recently. I mainly played back up for drummers who got sick or couldn't make it at local concerts.

I'll push the guys to get a link up soon... lol
