If I were you, I would just pick up a set of new houser LT a-arms from houser. For a 400ex. Last I looked they were right at $500.

Just an FYI, 250R a-arms won't work on a 400ex because the mounts are quite a bit wider. You would have to grind them down quite a bit. It works the other way around, 400ex work on a 250R because they are narrower and just need spacers to fill in the mount.
