Considering an 08 outlaw MXR 450. Need advice.

Hey Guys,
I am considering an 08 Outlaw MXR 450. Are there any issues I should be aware of? Can you install a taller stem and fat bar clamps with the pro steering system? Are there any hoods made that resemble the 09 front end? Does anyone know the front end width? Any tips are appreciated. Thanks! Frank R.

Yes walsh and rath and lonestar all sell aftermarket stems. No no hoods that resemble 09. Make sure you adjust carb and tighrten all the bolts.

Tony at TRP just made hoods for the MXR. But don't think you can put a hood on the '08s the way the plastics and all are made.

There have been a couple guys that have done a conversion from 08 plastics to 09 and from what i understand it was NOT easy.

I love my polaris, i have had a couple of problems with the exaust setup, but once you change that out its a great bike!
