2004 450r Best motor set up

im tryin to decide what to do with my rebuild. it has a hrc cam already. (1) hot rods +3 crank, venom 97mm 12.25 piston, and boring the stock cylinder out to a 470.......(2).....hot rods +3 crank, venom 94mm 12.25 piston, either buying a new honda cylinder or replating my old one.......(3) stock updated crank, venom 97mm 12.25 piston, and boring the stock cylinder out to a 470 and replate or buy factory bored out cylinder works cylinder.......(4) stock updated crank with with venom 94mm 12.25 either buying a new honda cylinder or replating my old one... what would be the most reliable?

I would say your 4th would be most reliable and add a good port job for the extra reliable power! I wouldn't bore out and re-plate these cylinders are thin enough before any bores, but some are doing it, but I wouldnt.

even with a big bore without a good port job you wont get the potential, a quality port and polish and valves will give you some of the most reliable power. and it wont cause any tranny problems, bump up compression and keep stock size in my opinion
