Exhaust baffle... has got me baffled...

Well.. I have a WB R4 slip on... i had to repack it last fall... and when i did.. i noticed the internal baffle... the part that keep the packing against the walls... it's falling apart... i probably still have about 80-90 percent of it... but it's worse at the ends... and i'd like to get a new baffle... i don't want to buy a new pipe as my finanaces are able to right now... does anyone have any ideas??? i already sent a e-mail to VandH and am now awaiting a response.... but i figured while i was waiting i'd ask here...

I had this exact same problem last summer when I found that the inside core of the WB E-series exhaust that came with my 400ex was in pieces. Your best bet is to look around for another spare R4 exhaust to have for parts later on down the road. Unfortunately, all WB exhausts were discontinued when V&H bought them out.
