15w40 rotella and change it everyride. I did use amsoil full synthetic but its just to high to maintain correctly as much as i ride. If i had a never-ending pocket i would use 10w 40 amsiol motorcycle full synthetic

the thumper oil is supposed to be more designed for racing engines and is a semi-synthetic (not sure about the oil your talkin about) it has always treated me good..

my engine now is a 2004 with the stock crank in it, no oil mod at all, only two internal engine parts i've replaced is the shift shaft (which i broke) and a high compression piston. its got tons of hours on it and when i did the piston everything still looked to be in good shape. i change oil regularly and always have used the thumper oil. i use bel ray in all my stuff. that old engine has been put threw hell in back, i've completely built two engines for it but only got to ride with them for a couple rides each and someone offers me money that makes a profit for me, so the old engine always got put back in and kept on running strong..
