Looking to piece together a run of Titanium bolts and nuts for the 250r, starting with the aarm bolts... others to follow, eventually a complete kit, motor etc... Unfortunately I have to order in high quantities 50+ each to make it even close to reasonable pricing, and I can't afford to order them all at once...

Seeing if there is any interest at all, I might be the only one... :D

They are M10x71mm flange bolts grade 5 titanium and M10 flange nuts grade 5 Ti as well.

let me know, I should have a price per set this afternoon from them.

More to follow, motor mount bolts, etc...

Trot, how do you get anything done at work? Seems all you think about is R stuff!

Ooops, forgot to post the picture.... haha...

They would be very similar to this only the CORRECT size for the 250r...

This is going to be a ridiculously tough sell unless you get the price way down.

FWC has 450R bolt kits for $140 - how much cheaper could you get them?

As cool as they are I can't see spending $140 when I can get the specbolt kit for $36.

I may be interrested.Where are you planning on buying from?I have bought all my mountain bike Ti-bolts from www.torontocycles.com ...They were by far the cheapest I found.Shipping to U.S. was cheap also. Not sure if they have the sizes we need?Who knows, maybe Ti is cheaper in Canada???

OEM bolts go for 7.22 ea and 2.45 for the nuts... Something not too far from that is my goal.

I'd just check on Service honda, they usually have the sizes of the bolts on there...

The a-arm mounts on the 400ex and 450r are narrower than the 250r hence the shorter bolts. 400ex a-arms will work on the 250r from what I hear but they need to be shimmed to make up for this difference.

Im almost sure the threads extend past my lock nut,

For the record from service honda: $7.22 ea for the bolts and 2.45 ea for the nuts... for OEM hardware, that's $77.36 plus shipping frm Service Honda.

Also these are being manufactured, (there is no 71mm length standard sizing) so there is a ~4wk lead time if that makes a difference to anyone.

Well just got the word and cost is $84.50... you can PM me for details. Basically only getting the min 50 quantity per bolt/nut, so there will only be 6 total sets available, could go to 8 if there is enough interest...

Please PM me if you're interested cause there is only going to be 6-8 total sets available for now...

I've got myself and 2 others that have spoken for a set, via PM. That leaves 3 sets left....

I'd be interested also but laegers uses american a arm bolts.. Just thought I'd throw that out there not sure if it matters, but the oem don't even go thru the frame on my bike.

I'm using OEM bolts on my Laeger now, I'd be more worried about the clearance on the bearings than the frame. I did have to file the powder out of the hole and it was tight fit... but other than that, they worked fine. 3/8 is 9.525mm, and I'm using M10's which is OEM. 0.475mm/2 is the clearance or >0.010"...

Mine's a 98 frame, which Laeger probably did use SAE bolts back then, my +4 aarms are newer and seems to be Metric.

I think we have the numbers we need. I'll put in the order and we'll go from there.

Thanks guys!

I got room for one more... that would make 8 total, and within my range... I'll put you down for a set.

If anyone else wants a set, let me know asap...
