First ever rebuild!

First time poster, long time browser. I'm about to start the rebuild on my 2002 400ex. I'm most likely going to go 416 with a 11:1 JE piston, stage 2 hotcam. I'm going to leave the frame and everything stock for now. Sooner or later i'm going to invest in some 450 shocks, and a set of +2 a-arms. Not sure where i'm going to buy all the parts from so any tips, hints or tricks will be greatly appreciated!

Been nice out the past few days so i've been working on tearing the hundie down. Still workin' on getting the swing arm bolt out.

I dont know if you started getting parts yet... but I got most of my upgrades off of e-bay. Just shop around and youll usually find the best prices. Some stuff you just have to suck it up and pay full price for... You gotta pay to play! But it will be worth it :D

Thanks! After 3 cans of PB blaster, and 2 sore arms later, I finally got the bolt out! I'm going to get the frame cleaned up, and sanded. It's going glossy black. I just got the head off, sending it to get it bored, the head is being sent to get ported and polished. Hopefully i'll be ordering the parts for it all tonight :)
