I have not had a chance to go into the garage and open the carb that came on my bike. Luckily the donor bike ran very well before I pulled the motor. I am hoping not much will change once in the quad and I have a good base line.

This weekend I should be able to see what was in my 06 stock motor for you.

I know the bikes are jetted a tad different from the quads but I'll use my brother YFZ for refernce.

With that FCR carb we run a 45 pilot, 165 main, 40 leak jet, idle air screw 2.5 - 3 turns out and the NCQV needle in the middle position. WE are around 1900ft in elevation

When setting up the ACC pump screw on the side of the carb, hold the throttle wide open ( the engine off of course) and turn the screw out till it comes off the cam then turn it back in till it just touches the cam, let go fo the throttle. Teh ACC pump is now set. This is on a YFZ carb and not sure of the CRF carb is the same but that works best and no need for a zip tie mod.

I still have to tweak the jetting but it runs damn good with that setup. A 35 leak jet worked even better on our last YFZ.

Let me give some details on my motor and jetting. Its an 02 with a +3mm stroker crank, 12.5 comp, ported and decked head, stg2 hot cam, sparks exhaust.

The carb is off an 07 and its now 42.5mm. Main jet is 195, pilot is a 55 and the leak jet is a 55.

Little different than most of you...
It is a 2005 crf450r frame and motor with a custom shock mount and subframe with 04-05 trx450r swinger

HA Yo that thing is sick!! Details on the build? Forks? Who made the subframe? How did you get the swingarm to mate up?

Frame and motor are 2005 CRF450R with custom billet shock mount, peg extender mounts skid plate/reinforcing. The frame pivot bolt area is milled out to use the TRX450R swinger which is also milled skinnier in the pivot bolt area. Also as most of you probably know, the CRF pivot bolt is larger diameter than the TRX, so trx bearings are used with the crf bolt and custom bearing sleeves.
Forks are from an 86 ATC250R with progressive springs and 30wt oil, but KTM 85sx 43mm WP forks are in my basement waiting on triple trees, and then those well be mounted up.
I made the subframe, little bit time consuming, but not overly bad.

Nice job. That seat looks like a big secret lol. Did you do that yourself too? And how's she ride?
