Hey
I cant get the rubber bushings out of my 1986 250r a-arms. I was wondering if they are supposed to come out ??? I am going to powder coat them but now i cant get the bushings out so can they still be powder coated ??? Also, how to you get the rubber coverings around the ball joints if it is possible to remove the rubber.

If they are stock 250R a arms I am pretty sure you can't take them off.

Kenny or Chris would know for sure..

He is correct the rubber boots do not come off.......

and if you take the a arms to full cure the grease out of the ball joint will bake out and possibly ruin any socket inside that may be plastic,,,,,,,,and the bushings if i remember from my 88 have clips that retain them on the inside........i just gutted my pivot points and use a ECATV poly bushing kit.

i believe kenny was doing stock a arms but only letting the powder flow out then taking them out of the oven,,,,,,,,,

but personally i would be concerned with the undercuring of the powder,,,,,,it is like glass then:ermm:

but hey what ever floats the boat i guess.............
