View Full Version : Who's going to Virginia Motorsports Park this weekend for the 1st round of VXCS????

Just trying to see who all is going to be there from exriders.

I am still planning on going as of right now. My buddy backed out on me, but I am still going.

Is there anybody else in the Virginia Beach area that would like to caravan up Saturday Morning?

I have to look at the start times, if we start too early, I may drive the motorhome up Friday night.

The only factor that would change my mind is the weather. I am not into riding when its WET & COLD.

What day are you coming back? I will come up to get a look at the racing. I'm not sure about it yet. Let me know. I will go as a spectator this time.

All,

We regret to inform you that we've been forced to postpone the race this weekend due to track conditions.

The recent deluges have the MX track, the fields and the parking area, and a large part of the track all underwater. There's more rain in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow, so it's not going to get any better.

We've done our best to prepare for the race, and feel we've got a quality event "ready to run", but these conditions would truly make it an endurance run, detracting from the fun and adding to the expense - so we're postponing it.

The event is NOT cancelled, and a new race date will be announced as soon as it can be coordinated. Please stay tuned in.

We regret the inconvenience, and look forward to having everyone join us for a great event as soon as we can coordinate a new date.

Damn I just read that on ther site. Oh well we are supposed to get some serious rain tomorrow.

no snow but 1/2 of ice from freezing rain.
