Ok heres the deal. My son drag races his 2 stroke polaris 90. We have added a pipe ,did the clutch work ,changed gearing and tires, changed jets and added a uni filter. We are on a limited budget and I mean limited to where a think it would be easier to remove weight than do anything else. Any ideas on what I could do? We are pretty competitive at most races , but there are always 2-3 quads that show up with there wheely bars and alcohol burning speedsters that end are day. I can put a little $ in it ,but the wife cant find out! lol

thanks

have you changed reeds? if not, thats a cheap mod, and maybe mill the head for more compression which will add torque..

mill the head and put a cr85 carb on it... with the pipe it will make it breath and fly.. stock cr85 jetting works pretty good for 4000 to 6500 air density altitude.

165 to 185 psi cranking is about my limit for pump gas.. over that is race gas...

lighten up by removing oil pump and accessories. Remove battery and starter.

put on a twist throttle.
