up for a possible sale is my 87 250X. it has been my project quad and i have put alot of work and money into it to make it a very nice running and awesome handling quad.
here is a run down of what its got.
Parts list:
400EX front shocks and conversion mount with Z400 A-arms (made a HUGE improvement in handling)
96 300EX front brake system (master cylinder and calipers)
new front wheel bearings
like new front Dunlop tires (one 90% the other 95%)
DG alloy nerf bars (small dent in right bar)
G-force adjustable axle (like new)
like new rear Dunlop tires (95%)
300EX rocker box with Web hardened rockers
Hi-comp piston (11.1 i think)
DG exhaust header with modified tail pipe
the quad runs awesome!! you would not think it is an 87 with the way it runs and starts, starts within the first 4 kicks regardless if hot or cold.
the only problems is that the plastic is in rough shape and the chassis was painted black and white and has some scratches and dings. And since it has a 300EX rocker box it doesn't have a decompression release, which isn't that big of deal on a smaller cc engine like this.
would make a great entry level racer for a younger rider, or a great trail/ recreation quad.
i am asking $1900 OBO
