yea i may get hd studs and may run the xr400 gasket. i was lookin in to web cams but the valves, springs, and hardened rocker make it almost not worth it to me. so ill probably go for just a stage 3 hotcam. id like to make around 40 to 43 horse but idk if i can make that with these mods.

the hd studs will not be a "may" sort of deal. it will be a necessity if you plan to even run 12:1 let alone an xr gasket. depending on the comp making the piston you can be at 12.5:1 or almost 13:1. it depends on what engine they used to measure it. I believe(not 100% sure) that JE does their ratios on the ex motor with ex gaskets so you will be at about 12.5:1 if you use an xr gasket on it.

yes very true je piston are measured for the ex motor and i still want it reliable so i will get hd studs. do u think i can reach 40 to 43 horse with these mods?
